Angela M. Lorenz

Background and Legal Career

Angela Lorenz was born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. In 2000, she earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pittsburgh in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. Angela majored in Environmental Studies with a concentration in Biology. She then attended Widener University School of Law in Wilmington,Delaware, earning her Juris Doctorate degree in 2004.

Angela has devoted her legal career to defending employers, insurance companies, and self-insured entities in the workers' compensation arena. Following law school, Angela worked for Musi, Malone & Daubenberger in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She committed most of her time to defending the School District of Philadelphia in workers' compensation matters. In 2008, Angela began working for Kent & McBride, P.C. in Philadelphia, where her practice was entirely devoted to representing insurance companies and self-insured entities in defense of workers' compensation claims. In 2012, Angela put her full-time legal career on hold so that she could become a stay at home mom to her three small children. In 2014, Angela returned to practice and began working for the Moritz Law Group, LLC in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania office. In this position, she continues to defend employers, insurance companies, and self-insured entities in workers' compensation claims throughout Eastern Pennsylvania.

Angela resides with her husband and three children. She enjoys volunteering at her children's school, running and spending time with her family.
