Background and Legal Career
Tom has been an attorney for more than twenty-five years. He has handled both civil litigation and workers’ compensation cases throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey. During his fourteen-plus years of workers’ compensation experience, he has represented businesses and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania before Workers’ Compensation Judges, the Workers’ Compensation Appeal Board, the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania and the Superior Court of Pennsylvania. Tom has worked as staff counsel for major insurance carriers as well as in a private firm setting. This combination of working within insurance companies and panel counsel provides a great appreciation of the needs of insurers and their insureds.
Tom grew up in Ridgewood, New Jersey, but is an avid fan of Philadelphia sports. He received his B.A. with a double major in history and government & law from Lafayette College in 1990. He obtained his J.D. in 1993 from Villanova University School of Law where he met his wife. Tom resides with his wife and children in Radnor, PA. He is a long-time coach of both softball and basketball in Radnor’s youth leagues.
