Practice and Background
Louis J. DeLucca, Jr. has been handling workers' compensation matters in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey for over twenty-six years. Lou is a lifelong resident of New Jersey. He was born in Atlantic County, and he graduated from Hammonton High School before attending The College of New Jersey, formerly Trenton State College. Lou received in Bachelor of Arts cum laude in 1984 and went directly to study law at Temple University School of Law in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. While at Temple Law School, he worked a law clerk for the firm of Cozen & O'Connor in center city Philadelphia.
After graduating from Temple Law School in 1988, Lou was hired as in-house counsel for PMA Insurance Company defending workers' compensation claims. He then began working as an associate attorney for the law firm of Post & Schell, P.C. in their workers' compensation department representing both insurance companies and self-insured businesses. After leaving Post & Schell, Lou continued to handle workers' compensation matters, but this time on behalf of claimants. He was a partner in a small boutique law firm before being hired by Edlestein Law where he represented employers and insurance companies in defense of workers' compensation claims in Pennsylvania and New Jersey for approximately eight years. An integral part of The Moritz Law Group and a senior attorney at its inception, Lou brings to the firm and its clients his professionalism and extensive experience in handling workers' compensation cases in settings ranging from in-house counsel to a large sized insurance defense firm.
Lou currently resides in Atco, New Jersey. In his spare time, he enjoys reading biographies and fishing.
